Choose the Business Model that’s Right for You
Colors on Parade is a two-tiered system consisting of area developers and operator franchisees. Therefore, we offer two different ownership opportunities:
- Operator Franchisee Business Model -
The operator franchisee is a hands-on, technical business owner, specializing in providing the Colors on Parade services from a mobile unit. (Cost structure: Approximately $15,000 plus the cost of a new or used cargo van.)
- Area Developer Business Model -
An area developer owns a Designated Market Area (DMA) and is responsible for the onsite support of all operator franchisees working within their protected territory. Area developers provide operator franchisees with technical and business support and marketing support to attract new clients. They assist with the development of accounts and are responsible for providing quality assurance and customer service to all accounts within their DMA. Area developers also recruit new operator franchisees within their territory. Prospective area developers should possess strong management and leadership skills, along with an understanding of business planning, financial forecasting, marketing and sales. (Cost structure: Approximately $45,000-$60,000.)
